PUBLIC POLICY COMMITTEE:

This committee is charged with monitoring and promoting the legislative concerns of IAMFT and its members.  This committee has been responsible working closely with the Division Lobbyist, AAMFT Legal Affairs, and the Executive Director to both vision, coordinate and execute legislative efforts like Lobby Days, grassroots activities, and even testifying on behalf of LMFTs across the state.  This committee's most recent success was with the passing of HB953 which added LMFTs to the list of providers in the State Insurance Code.
